Tapestry Looms: Large, Medium, Small and Mini's
These handmade tapestry looms are used to make lovely wall hangings or to sample new yarns. In this listing you can choose between the Large 12x14.75 (weaving area 11.25x11.75), the Medium 8x10.70 (weaving area 7.75x7.375), the Small 9.5x6 (weaving area 7x5.5) and the Mini 4.5x6.75 (weaving area 4x4.5) tapestry looms. The wood will vary from loom to loom and the sizes are approximate due to these being handmade. All looms can come as 8epi or 6epi, you choose.
The warp bars have been cut with the grain so the ends will never snap off with normal use. The teeth are sanded in between each by hand then with a hand sander they are sanded 5 times as you see in the video. These teeth are sturdy enough to take it. :)
The loom will be shellacked and waxed to the shine you see in the pictures.
With this purchase you get:The handmade Large, Medium and small looms come with only the loom, the tools pictured are not included; If you want tools with this loom there is a listing on the "looms" tab" for you to add them to your purchase. The mini loom comes with a tiny comb and one weaving needle and a little bag. Makes a great set for backpacking. If you want your mini loom to be super light let me know and I'll send the lightest one available.
These are handmade and imperfections are part of their charm. No returns or exchanges for manufacturing faults such as not being completely square, or teeth bending because of removing your project incorrectly. I suggest taking a class on how to weave on your new loom or watching videos before you begin. If 8epi looms warped too tightly or if you remove your warp with a tool instead of cutting off the loom you might experience some teeth bending or cracking. This can often be repaired or worked around, contact me if you have damaged your loom and need a repair.
