This is a Tahkli spindle shuttle. (see the spindle in images, this is the only tahkli spindle that will work in this shuttle). It is made to hold the tahkli spindles only (Stainless Steel Shaft Length: 18 cm (~7.1 in.). It comes with a bobbin rod so that you can use the shuttle with regular plastic 4.5" handywoman or Schacht bobbins. It does not include the spindle or bobbin.
These are approximately 12" long and 1" tall and 1.5" wide. YThe shuttle pictured is Wenge
These are made on purchase and ship in about 5 days.
Update:  My father passed away this morning 10-11-2024. I need to close earlier than planned to take care of funeral arrangements.    Handywoman shop will close on October 12, 2024 and reopen on January 5th 2025.  No orders will be taken during this time and payment processing will be turned off.   All orders taken before shutting down will be shipped out as usual rest assured your orders will not be delayed at all by my closing.  USPS is slower during these last few months of the year so plan ahead.
