This batten is made solid wood  and is sanded to  knifes edge.  It measures 22" x 2.5" x .75  and is between 7 and 12 ounces . The wood used will vary. This is a professional batten used in Mayan backstrap weaving.
Update:  My father passed away this morning 10-11-2024. I need to close earlier than planned to take care of funeral arrangements.    Handywoman shop will close on October 12, 2024 and reopen on January 5th 2025.  No orders will be taken during this time and payment processing will be turned off.   All orders taken before shutting down will be shipped out as usual rest assured your orders will not be delayed at all by my closing.  USPS is slower during these last few months of the year so plan ahead.
