This lovely medium size supported spindle design will be a delight for the spinner who loves a supported spindle. The spindle shaft is made from Frogwood which will resist warping with humidity changes, is very hard and strong and gives a long lasting durable spindle. The spinning point is made from a titanium insert.The thin large diameter whorl design adds duration to the spin while keeping the overall weight low. The spindle is finished to a very smooth surface, polished with a french polish and then a final gloss of carnauba wax for a long lasting shine and protection. Your spindle is made by Jory Freyee to one of Malcolm's designs. The photos show the item you will receive.Your spindle is checked for quality and spin before despatch and comes with tip protectors and is packed.This spindle style has a remarkably long spin and excellent balance due to the adjusted whorl. The spindle operates at a high speed and is very easy to flick. The large diameter means it will hold a large cop.
